A Very Unusual Cumulonimbus Cell: 2130Z on 20/06/2023 (2): stithiansweather.co.uk/a-very-unusual-cumulonimbus-cell-2130z-on-20-06-2023-2/ NOTES: This Cumulonimbus cell really caught my eye – late in the evening, this developed over the WNW horizon. It gradually went upwards and became highly elongated as time progressed. It is likely that it got caught up in the upper Jet Stream flow and this may have directed it’s eventual shape! The second photograph is somewhat blurred as the camera could not focus properly due to the lack of available light!
